“This collection is for the bride who owns her own story, her desires and her presence,” says Sever. Sculptural and glamorous with juxtaposed silhouettes, styles such as the Ametista and Venezia are the perfect examples of combining timeless elegance with avant-garde artistry. In varying hues of powdery pinks and soft pastels, it’s the construction of pleated and double-scooped corsets paired with off-the-shoulder illusion sleeves, daring side slits and multiple layers of tulle and metallic organza that prove there’s a fearless individuality at the core of this collection, leaving an unforgettable impression in its wake.

KIM KASSAS

Kim Kassas took to honoring legendary women throughout history with her Spring 2026 collection. Titled, Fairest of Them All, it’s a nod to icons such as Marie Antoinette, Ophelia and Juliet, inspiring her to create a series of gowns that captured lavish elegance, strength, and grace while fusing vintage romance with a daring edge. As a designer who tends to cater to the less timid and non-conformist bride, it makes sense that Kassas and designer Dor Yaakov, emphasized the drama by creating exaggerated silhouettes with intricate details to give each dress a distinct and striking presence. In addition to these incredible historic women, the brands’ Victorian-era aesthetic was clearly represented throughout each style. There were waist-cinching corsets made from brocade fabrics and Solstiss lace along with varying Basque waistlines that created Rococo-esque silhouettes. Complemented with billowing sheer sleeves, crystal and pearl embellishments, and seemingly endless trains of silk, the latest from Kim Kassas Couture proved that embracing excess can be truly captivating.

MONIQUE LHUILLIER

There was a change of scenery for Monique Lhuillier this season. Stepping away from their showroom, the bridal staple shared their collection in the regal, Louis XIV room at the St. Regis which became the perfect backdrop for this season’s ethereal and elegant gowns. Similar to other collections this season, there was a little something for everyone to swoon over but executed with Monique’s signature ability to capture the essence of sophisticated luxury, whimsy and glamour. For SS26, she played with proportion and versatility, reimagining heirloom silhouettes with sculptural craftsmanship and subtly sensual fabrications. Balancing drama and delicacy, styles like the Laurel exposed a brides’ silhouette through a sheer raffia embroidered tulle ballgown, pooling into a stunning train of raffia leaf detail behind her.

Meanwhile, the Layla - a fairytale dream - celebrated femininity through a ballgown of gazar that featured a bouquet of spring blooms in soft watercolor stencils with dramatic oversized sleeves and a voluminous skirt.

HERA COUTURE

Katie Yeung is known for her dedication to crafting beautiful fabrics that result in modern yet timeless designs and empower the women that wear them. Serene Echoes, the name of Yeung’s Spring collection, contains all of these facets and more. Inspired by an untouched paradise where nature’s beauty thrives, SS26 features gowns that reflect this peaceful haven, inviting her brides into a world of tranquility and timeless elegance. Created with the utmost care, hand-crafted details such as pleated accordion satin on an upside-down tulip boned bodice, detachable draped cape sleeves and a dual duchess satin gown with a seamless curve neckline evoke a sense of otherworldly grace and harmony while capturing the essence of nature’s most intricate details.

REEM ACRA

Embodying timeless elegance and sophistication, Reem Acra kicked off the NYBFW event calendar this season with styles that proved to be a celebration of love, artistry and the start of a new chapter. Titled, Laces and Petals the collection was crafted to evoke a sense of royalty and modern allure through classic design and intricate lace details. It was yet another collection rooted in the beauty that nature provides us but with an exquisite refinement that masterfully blended classic elements together and paid homage to femininity. 

PRONOVIAS

Born from the fragility and power of nature, Pronovias Privée created ethereal designs that captured nature’s most magical moments for SS26. It was a tribute to nature’s textures, celebrating the rebirth of elegance through floral artistry and refined silhouettes. They focused on reinterpreting classic styles with a modern twist, playing with new fabrics that gave dramatic silhouettes more fluidity and a softer contour to the body. Some of our favorites featured asymmetrical details such as the Finke, a Mikado princess gown draped at the waist and bustled to perfection. The Bals was more demure, a crepe mermaid with a sculptural neckline showcasing a quiet strength and femininity that could be found throughout the collection.

GEORGES HOBEIKA

A true sanctuary of haute couture, Georges and Jad Hobeika shared a series of dreamlike creations for Spring 2026, blurring heritage and innovation with a masterful hand. They looked to nature both on the ground and in the stars as their inspiration, incorporating celestial details as well as wheat-inspired motifs that represented a poetic symbolism of femininity and prosperity. The bodices were mainly corseted with a barely seen rounded Basque-waist, allowing for varying skirt options that flattered each bride. From a column Chantilly lace style paired with silk crepe, to airy tulle adorned with textured beading and 3D embroidery, their craftsmanship is undeniably unique and utterly unforgettable.

LIHI HOD

Lihi Hod is known for modern elegance and designing classic silhouettes with artisanal details. For Spring 2026, she took this approach to a deeply meaningful place with her collection, LEV, her most personal collection to date. Named after the Hebrew word for heart, she leaned into couture traditions, exploring the crossover between structure and softness and spending up to 40 hours crafting each of the twelve gowns by hand. It’s an honest representation of her thoughtfulness and love for design as she meticulously shaped romantic and timeless silhouettes from crinoline, boning, lace, and tulle. The completion of each look came from her playful use of volume and embellishments, as styles were detailed with beaded raw pearls and satin bows, capturing a sculptural grace throughout the collection.

VIKTOR&ROLF

It was a royal affair for Viktor&Rolf this season. Influenced by the queen's gardens and steeped in romance, V&R looked to reimagine and pay tribute to royal court dressing. It was a thoughtful combination that featured sculpted bows, jacquard fabrics, voluminous silhouettes and cascading embellishments all of which seemed to bloom across gowns in the brands’ signature avant-garde style. We personally loved their interpretations that combined a modern aesthetic with artistic opulence. For example, two Mikado gowns, one fitted with bold sculpted puffs and a dropped waist, another, an A-line silhouette with a Watteau train, both are complimented by a fitted sweetheart bustier and finished with a signature bow at the center back, creating the perfect amalgam of past and present.

“It is unconventional in the most traditional of ways,” says the House of BERTA. “The new collection is about finding your perfect shadow… BERTA Eclipse is for the unapologetic genuine self who dreams of being bigger than life, for one cosmic moment in her lifetime.”

As an expert in statement gowns and everything related to fashion technology, Ines Di Santo’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection showcases multiple tiers and bridal silhouettes that highlight her focuses this season: individuality, nature, emotion over reason, freedom of form, and exploration into the unknown.

“In this digital age of algorithms, AI, and an abundance of screens,” the designer explains, “I wanted to explore the expression of my imagination and the very essential human aspect of creativity amplified by modern technology, blending the two worlds as seamlessly as possible… Our fabric developments this season led us to adapt and push the limits of modern embroidery and laser cutting machines to create new layered fabrications, pairing them with both hand painted and hand beaded details – a level of craft and artisanship that can never be fully substituted by machines.”

Lush volume and oversized embellishments reign supreme at the moment, and Galia Lahav has risen to the occasion with two showstopping gowns that feature cascading 3D florals, sheer French lace, and dramatic overskirts.

Ines Di Santo – Spring Court

Ines Di Santo’s latest bridal collection showcases ballgowns that will make brides look as if they’ve stepped out of a fairytale kingdom. With tiers of tulle, drop waists, and sheer bodices covered in floral embellishments, these statement making gowns only give the illusion of being demure.

BERTA – Bold Bodices

BERTA brides are known for embracing plunging necklines, curve-hugging cuts, and low backs; but our favorites from the latest collection incorporate lavish texture, voluminous skirts, and bold necklines that are supported by beautifully constructed bodices.

Sareh Nouri – NYC Chic

Wedding dresses by Sareh Nouri are the epitome of “NYC Chic.” Our top picks this season include a gauzy, frothy, strapless wedding gown covered in 3D flowers. It’s what we imagine a modern day Carrie Bradshaw would wear. Alternatively, for the “Charlotte Yorks” out there, Sareh Nouri also has a classic strapless bridal gown with a sweet trio of bows in the back.

The Atelier – Structural Layers

The Atelier always excels in blurring the line between bridal fashion and artistry. For a truly unique bridal look, the fashion house offers two showstoppers that feature structural layers, asymmetry, and origami-like folds.

Lihi Hod and Eva Lendel – Exquisite Minimalists

The love affair current brides have with minimalism continues; but that’s not to say that minimalist wedding gowns make any less of a statement. We came across two beautiful options by Lihi Hod and Eva Lendel that are masterpieces in tailoring and construction.

Dana Harel – Sensual Sweethearts

The sweetheart neckline gets a sensual upgrade this season with two statement making wedding dresses by Dana Harel – one being a beaded, curve-hugging number, and the other being a romantic bridal ballgown with a voluminous skirt and pockets.

Kim Kassas – Peek-A-Boo Pleats

Why pick just one statement-making feature when you can have several? Our current favorite wedding dress from Kim Kassas is a strapless gown that has pleats, peek-a-boo lace, a lace-up corset, a voluminous overskirt, and sequin embellishments.

FEMININE ELEGANCE BY MILLIA LONDON

Inspired by the concept of feminine elegance, this editorial shoot was designed with a focus on beauty, grace, strength, independence, and character. Beneath the gorgeous gowns is an underlying message as well: That one “can absolutely be fashionable whilst also being timeless.”

“Couples sometimes worry about committing to the bold fashion statements they love, for fear of looking back in regret in the future,” says photographer, Catherine Carter. “For me, it’s about honest self-expression.”

This shoot showcases the epitome of feminine elegance, beauty, and grace. The dresses by Millia London are described by the designer as “showcasing hand-dyed ruffles” along with “romantic silhouettes refined with a high fashion aesthetic that encapsulates femininity.”

Purples and pinks dominated the Spring/Summer 23 catwalks, but this aesthetic will surely span the years. Embracing a philosophy founded on original design, playful ruffles and true luxury, Millia London seeks a cohesive balance between elegant couture and modern sophistication. While it is classically beautiful, it is also an honest expression – a factor that will never look awkward or outdated.

“Whatever makes your event unique is always special, and worth celebrating,” says Catherine. “No couple will ever regret a wedding that is wholly and completely ‘them.’

New York Bridal Fashion Week is always the first to usher in the next year’s wedding gown collections, with April’s market being the grand showcase for Spring 2025 styles. From sleek and modern to timeless and romantic, Spring 2025 brides can look forward to a stunning array of bridal fashion. Here are Grace Ormonde Wedding Style’s picks for the top 40 wedding dresses of Spring 2025, which beautifully represent the various collections from our readers’ favorite designers.

Modern Chic

Of all the potential styles and trends a bride can choose from, modern interpretations of classic styles still reign supreme. For those who prefer a little less embellishment and a little more structure, the Spring/Summer collection by Viktor&Rolf Mariage features the brand’s signature sculptural designs and bows with a contemporary edge. The latest collection was produced in partnership with Justin Alexander, and it’s the first to include a bridal classic – lace.

“We have always been fascinated by the wedding dress because it is a small universe in itself,” say designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren. “It is an icon of the most wonderful moments in life.”

One of our favorite wedding dresses of Spring 2025 also comes from Reem Acra, whose contrast between a plain high-neck bodice and voluminous ruffled skirt is the epitome of modern day chic.

While minimalism and starkness once dominated the modern aesthetic, contemporary brides and designers are finding gorgeous ways to fuse two concepts together – in this case, princess bride-like shapes with a clean and classic finish.

Luxury Brides

There’s one thing we can always count on seeing at New York Bridal Fashion Week: a parade of exquisite ballgowns and dresses made for luxury brides. Top designers like Georges Hobeika, Galia Lahav, Elie Saab, Tony Ward, Ines Di Santo, and Zuhair Murad have delivered once again, with collections displaying a stunning selection of bridal couture.

The latest collection by Georges Hobeika is an “ode to light,” with a color palette of white, cream, beige, and platinum that mimics the glow of a sun-illuminated aura.

Luminous details are also present in Tony Ward’s collection, which is perfect for brides who want to sparkle and shine on their wedding day in a red carpet-worthy showstopper.

Galia Lahav drew inspiration from influential women of the Pre-Raphaelite era, offering Spring/Summer 2025 brides some extravagant ballgowns with Victorian silhouettes.

Elie Saab took note from a bygone era as well, with a romantic luxury bridal collection that celebrates the paintings of impressionist Claude Monet.

That theme of romanticism continues in Ines Di Santo’s Spring 2025 collection titled, “Romanticism Unveiled.”

Taking a cue from the past, but from a different part of the world, Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2025 collection is a journey into the depths of Phoenician history.

Each gown serves as a tapestry of that civilization, with the Mediterranean sun represented by the subtle radiance woven into the bridal gowns via intricate beading and embellishments.

Lace Love

Lace will always have a prominent place in the world of bridal fashion. Some of our favorite lace wedding dresses of Spring 2025 include gowns by Pnina Tornai, WONA Concept, Stephane Rolland, and Lihi Hod.

As the go-to American bridal designer who excels in timeless and romantic styles, the newest collection by Anne Barge is a particular triumph. Under the guidance of President and Creative Director Shawne Jacobs, the bridal fashion house has created a lineup of wedding dresses that epitomize elegance, modernism, and understated luxury.

A sweeping off-shoulder lace number immediately caught our eye, and the collection also features bridal toppers that can easily switch up the look of a gown between the ceremony and reception.

There’s one common thread that ties the top 40 wedding dresses of Spring 2025 together – proof that love is in the details. As next season’s brides begin their search for the perfect wedding gown, trunk shows and designer appearances are already being scheduled at designer bridal boutiques.

GO: Ideally, how far in advance should a bride purchase her gown?

A: We recommend purchasing your gown a year in advance. This ensures you won’t run into rush fees or delays from the designer and will give you ample time for alterations when the gown arrives.

GO: What advice do you have for brides in search of the perfect wedding dress?

A: 1. While we always recommend doing your research, be open to your stylist’s suggestions – they are the professionals!

2. Come prepared to find "the one." That is your stylist’s job, and boy are they good at it!

3. Know your budget and clearly communicate that with your stylist.

4. Do not bring anyone to your appointment who is not crucial in your decision making process. While wedding dress shopping is SO fun, it can easily take a turn with too many opinions and personalities that will distract or take away from your experience.

GO: Are there any bridal fashion trends that stand out to you this year?

A: We are seeing a lot more color being incorporated into wedding gowns as well as prints and texture. These trends are a really beautiful way of making an otherwise. simple silhouette pop and take on a new life. Loving these trends for so many reasons!
